Safety at home

Everyone’s home life is different. Regardless of who you live with and where you live, it is important for your health and wellbeing that you feel safe at home.

If you live in a home where there is lots of shouting and swearing, throwing things, pushing or hitting, this is known as family violence. Violence can be physical, verbal, or sexual, or it might involve neglect.
